Clippers’ Chris Paul embarrassing defenders during Pro-Am (Video)

The NBA isn’t a big fan of when players go against the CBA and participate in non-league sanctioned basketball games and/or tournaments. Presumably, NBA franchise aren’t overly thrilled with it either considering their million dollar investments are putting themselves in harm’s way.

Alas, players end up participating regardless and that’s fantastic news for we fans, especially those in Seattle who are often treated to some really special games given the influx of NBA talent native to the area. Case in point, this past weekend when Jamal Crawford hosted a Pro-Am complete with a number of his Los Angeles Clippers teammates.
One player who wasn’t supposed to attend was All-Star point guard Chris Paul, but in town for Jamal Crawford’s wedding, Chris Paul decided he’d stop by the midnight game at Seattle Pacific University and those in attendance were more than thrilled that he did.
Paul, while extremely talented, doesn’t often show his flashy style of play on the NBA hardwood though he had no problem dishing it out during the exhibition on Saturday, embarrassing defenders with his impressive arsenal of moves.
Chris Paul ended the evening with a triple double, though more importantly took home the pride of multiple players who attempted to guard him throughout the evening.
My personal favorite was his dribble drive into the lane where he began shaking and baking, getting multiple players into the air before he smoothly knocked down the floater with ease. Paul makes the game look so easy, even at the NBA level.
Isaiah Thomas, LaMarcus Aldridge, Nate Robinson and more took part in the contest.
