NBA Rookie of the Year odds: Jabari Parker the favorite, Andrew Wiggins gaining ground
As soon as the NBA Draft was complete, oddsmakers made the number two overall pick, Milwaukee Bucks’ forward Jabari Parker, the favorite to win the Rookie of the Year Award with the number overall pick, then-Cleveland Cavaliers and now Minnesota Timberwolves’ swingman Andrew Wiggins just behind him.

Now that Wiggins is with the Timberwolves, he’s gaining on Parker.
“With the Wiggins and Love trade going through, nothing changed in terms of Championship odds as it was just a formality and the Cavs remain the favorites at 5-2,” Bovada’s Sports Book Manager, Kevin Bradley explained. “However, Wiggins has dropped from 6-1 to 4-1 for Rookie of the Year now that he can be the man in Minnesota and not deferring to Lebron.”
