Aaron Rodgers on Seahawks defense: ‘As talented as you will see in the NFL’
The NFL regular season kicks off this week with a high profile matchup on Thursday evening, September 4th. The reigning, defending, Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks open up their season against the very dangerous Green Bay Packers at CenturyLink Field in Seattle.

Both teams are among the early favorites to win the Super Bowl this season, so this first game could potentially tell us a lot about both sides strengths and weaknesses.
What we already know is that the Seahawks defense is among the best in the NFL, and Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers acknowledged that earlier this week.
“There’s a challenge at every level,” Rodgers told the media when asked about the Seahawks’ defense. “They’re really talented up front. They’re as good as they come on the backend with the safety-corner tandem. And they’re very talented and long and rangy and athletic and physical in the linebacker group.”
Rodgers was not done breaking down the Seahawks defense, as he had some more high praise for them later on in the interview.
“They can throw a lot of different personnel groupings and a lot of different guys lined up in different spots at you,” Rodgers continued. “And then they can rush just four and lock you down outside and inside. This is as talented a defense as you’re going to see in the league.”
Rodgers may be giving the Seahawks high praise now, but you can bet that he will look to shred their defense and especially their secondary come Thursday night. While the Seahawks are likely the best defense in the league, there is no question that Rodgers is among the league’s best quarterbacks as well.
