Broncos’ Montee Ball breaks tackles, dives in for the touchdown (Video)

The Denver Broncos create golden opportunities for their running backs as they are currently constructed. That allowed for Knowshon Moreno to have a career year in 2013, and it should presumably pave the way for second-year running back Montee Ball to have a big season as well.

Ball is off to a good start so far, showing some tough running in Denver’s opening game against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday night. He has broken some tackles, caught some passes out of the backfield, and perhaps most importantly, he has shown good ball security.
The former Wisconsin Badger is a more talented runner than Moreno, and he promises to post even bigger numbers the more that he gets used to the workload of an NFL running back.
Chief among Ball’s highlights on Sunday night would be this touchdown run. Ball showed the kind of nose for the endzone that made him a second round pick in the first place, breaking multiple tackles and diving in for the touchdown.
This was a key touchdown for the Broncos, as they needed to stretch their lead after struggling to put any points on the board in the second half and allowing Andrew Luck and the Colts back into the game.
