Amazing Derek Jeter farewell ad from Gatorade will give you chills (Video)

The month of September is almost over, which means that the career of one of the greatest Yankee players of all time, Derek Jeter, is quickly coming to an end. Prior to this season getting underway, Jeter announced that this would indeed be his last season in pinstripes, and the farewell tour has been nothing short of amazing to watch play out.

Well as his career comes to a close, the folks at Gatorade decided to do something amazing out of respect for the shortstop. They decided that, before his career does come to a heart-wrenching close, it would be a good idea to put together a nice ad that will absolutely give you chills, probably whether you’re a Yankee fan or not.

Again, there have been a lot of good farewell nods throughout the year for the Yankee captain, but this one from Gatorade is going to be very, very tough to beat. Of course, this is aside from whatever the Yankees may have planned for the final time that Jeter is on a baseball field this season, which will be coming up shortly.
