In Canada, there really isn’t all that much to be upset about. You’re not America, but you’re a close enough relative that you get to visit all the time without being responsible for almost anything. It snows a lot — which makes people angry — but at the end of the day you’re still the nicest people on the face of the planet.

Even their Twitter fights are better than they are in the States as just like two boys fighting, someone hits too hard and things get real. Not in Canada though, as the biggest dispute on social media is over whether the NHL or CFL is the better sport.

It all started with a random Canadian guy politely getting excited about a pair of NHL and CFL games coming up soon.

The Edmonton Eskimos, in classic Canadian fashion, tweeted the fan back to let him know everything is going to be okay.

The Toronto Argonauts then escelated things ever so slightly by claiming the CFL is the best sport.

Naturally, this didn’t sit with the Sabres or the Panthers, as Buffalo fired back at the Argonaut’s claim.

Then this happened…

The Sabres failed to get in on the fun after the mic was dropped by the CFL and the Florida Panthers lame twitter account didn’t get in on the action at all. But for the guy who started it all — he knew what he did.
