Buffalo Bills defensive back Ron Brooks was carted off the field on Sunday afternoon, after suffering an apparent head/neck injury.

There was a scary moment during the early slate of NFL games in Week 5, when Buffalo Bills defensive back Ron Brooks was tripped up during a special teams play and spiked on the top of his helmet.

Brooks was immobilized following the hit and loaded onto a backboard before being carted off of the field.

Here is a video of the play as it happened.

While it was a scary moment on the field, the good news is that Brooks was able to move his hand as he was being carted off of the field.

We will provide more information on the full extent of Ron Brooks’ injury when the Buffalo Bills provide an official update on his status.
