Last weekend Ohio State had one of the more impressive wins of the college football season when they beat Michigan State in East Lansing, 49-37. Many said that the game against Minnesota this week would be a potential trap game, and thanks to Minnesota running back David Cobb, it very well might be.

Near the end of the first half Ohio State held a 14-7 lead, despite making some mistakes. They were clearly letting the Gophers hang around in this one, and David Cobb was quick to take advantage of that.

Watch in the video below as Cobb breaks off a 30-yard rushing touchdown that would eventually tie the game with the Buckeyes.

Again, this is a very good Minnesota team, so this absolutely could be considered a trap game for the Buckeyes, who have some hopes left for making the College Football Playoff, should they win the rest of the way. But that’s the key, they have to win the rest of the way and maybe win the games convincingly.
