Ricardo Lockette With The Strip Of Perrish Cox (Video)
By Phil Watson
The Seattle Seahawks were shutting out the San Francisco 49ers in the late stages of the first half and got a big special teams play by Ricardo Lockette.
Ricardo Lockette is a wide receiver by trade, which means he makes a living hanging onto the ball.

Perrish Cox is a cornerback by trade, which means he makes a living trying to get the ball away from other folks.
But in a reversal of roles, it was Lockette who made a nifty strip of the ball from Cox on a punt return late in the first half at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
Lockette, one of the gunners for the Seattle Seahawks on their punt coverage team, dove at Cox and knocked the ball away from the San Francisco 49ers’ punt returner.
Seattle’s O’Brien Schofield fell on the ball at the San Francisco 40-yard line.
The Seahawks had a chance to extend a 13-0 lead, but the offense went three-and-out and Seattle punted the ball back to the 49ers with less than a minute to go in the first half.
The drive was hampered by a dumb move by Seattle running back Marshawn Lynch, who caught a short pass and appeared to have the ball into field goal range.
But he was flagged for taunting during a scuffle with 49ers cornerback Chris Culliver after the play and the 15-yard penalty moved the Seahawks back near midfield.
The teams went to the half with the score still 13-0.
