New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady says blame the NFL television broadcasts for his f-bombs and cussing, not him.

If you’ve watched Tom Brady quarterback a game for the New England Patriots, you’re well aware the signal caller often uses cuss words to display his emotions.

I’m not talking about “snickerdoodle” or “fudge sticks” either, because Tom Brady lets loose when he cusses. It’s screaming f-bombs and other vulgarities that would make his mother blush in horror.

Sometimes Brady’s emotions are captured not only on film but on audio as well, somehow slipping through the cracks of the person in charge of the audio during NFL broadcasts. It’s become so frequent, in fact, a recent article from the Boston Globe called out the New England Patriots quarterback for his profanity laced tirades but Tom Brady says don’t blame him, blame the television stations broadcasting the game.

“I wish I did have a better mouth out there at times, but there’s nothing that quite expresses the way I feel like that word,” he said. “It is, it is [a great word], especially in the heat of the moment. … Blame CBS and NBC for putting it on TV. Don’t blame me.”

It’s hard to disagree with Brady here as it’s pretty much all on the television networks as players should be allowed to express their emotions however they decide.

Perhaps he’d be a bit more warm to the idea of calming things down verbally considering he’s such a popular figure and so many kids look up to him, but it doesn’t seem like that will be the case.

For what it’s worth, Tom Brady says he doesn’t cuss at home but doing so on the field allows him to express his emotions without restriction.
