Jeremy Lin seemed irritated the Los Angeles Lakers gave Kobe Bryant yet another game winning shot opportunity.

More from Los Angeles Lakers

On Friday night, the Los Angeles Lakers trailed the Oklahoma City Thunder by just one-point with six seconds left on the clock and the ball in their possession.

It didn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out the game-winning shot would be given to Kobe Bryant, though teammate Jeremy Lin didn’t seem overly receptive of the idea.

While Lin was rooting for the Black Mamba to knock down the shot, it appears he’s a little envious of Bryant always getting the heroic shot and suggested he’d like to be given an opportunity as well.

"“How many game-winners has he hit like that?” Lin asked, referencing Bryant. “I’m obviously rooting for him to hit that shot. I thought it was a good look. It was a very, very hittable shot. That’s just a matter of time before he starts hitting those game-winners.”Then Lin added, “I like game-winners too. I would love to shoot some. But I get it. That guy is kind of the king of game-winners. He’s going to hit that shot. He’ll figure it out. That’s why he is who he is.”"

If that’s not the most perfect backhanded compliment I’ve ever seen, I’m not sure what is.

He says he’s rooting for Kobe Bryant to hit the shot and expects him to make them more often than not, but on the same token says he thinks he should be given important shots as well.

Of course, that’s not to say Jeremy Lin’s point is invalid because everybody knows where the Los Angeles Lakers are going to go when they need a clutch basket. It’s hard to blame them but sometimes you can go to the well too often.
