Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt found a little fan willing to wag his finger at him

Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt took time out to meet with some fans prior to their NFL game on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.  What he ended up getting I’m not sure he quite expected.

More from Houston Texans

A little Texans fan was on the sideline to meet the big man on Sunday and gave him something I don’t think any of us saw coming.  The little boy was tossed the ball by Watt only to have the ball swatted and then the little guy gave Watt the finger wag.  Classic.

Watt fell back to the ground laughing at the moment.  I probably would have lost it too.  The moment was too cute and it was caught on video.

Watt had six tackles, including three sacks on Sunday against the Jaguars.  That gave him 20.5 sacks on the season, making him the first NFL player in history to have 20+ sacks in consecutive seasons.

To have a player the caliber of Watt on the sidelines playing around like that in pregame warmups is something else.  Watt has always talked about being dialed in on gameday.  This is a side of Watt rarely seen on the field on gameday.

It is just one more reason to like the guy.  He showed his human side in the warmups and showed his dominating side during the game that may very well get him the Most Valuable Player despite not making the playoffs.  The Texans fell just short with a 9-7 record.
