Damian Lillard hasn’t had the best season so far in 2015 but his Twitter game is as on point as it’s ever been.

It hasn’t been the best season for Damian Lillard, as the Portland Trail Balzers star guard has slumped at times and has looked a bit shaken at others. He also apparently has growing reputation as a guy who doesn’t show up in big games for the Blazers.

That may not yet be a popular opinion, but it’s one that Lillard has heard and aggressively dismissed. The incident in question occurred when a fan accused Lillard on Twitter of not showing up in big games, something the guard felt he needed to respond to since he was called out publicly.

Lillard, like most people who are routinely harassed on Twitter, fired back at the fans with the best possible comeback we could have hoped for.

That’s harsh — I mean, attacking a guy for his hairline? Turns out the ice water in Lillard’s veins indeed runs through his heart as well.  Remember though that this comes from a man who once went in hard on LeBron James on Twitter before anyone really knew who Damian Lillard was.

While this troll was much more toned down that the seething rage that Lillard spewed at LeBron back in the day, it’s nice to know that Lillard hasn’t lost any of his edge even if it seems as though he may have toned down the rhetoric a bit.
