Prop bets are one of the fun aspects of any Super Bowl and this year’s game is no different with the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks meeting in Super Bowl 49 on Feb. 1.

The Super Bowl matchup was set on Sunday after the Patriots beat the Indianapolis Colts and the Seahawks knocked off the Green Bay Packers in an improbable comeback, but the betting is just getting underway.

Opening lines for the game differed where you looked but this game may be the first time in Super Bowl history that the game is a pick’em, but that likely won’t happen as money starts to pour in over the next two weeks.

One thing we do know is that the money will be pouring in for a number of various prop bets as the gambling community can have a little fun with things like the length of the National Anthem and what color gatorade will be dumped on the winning head coach.

That’s all standard stuff you will see regardless of the teams competing in The Big Game.

However, this year’s game does feature some unique prop bets.

One of them being the style of Patriots head coach Bill Belichick’s hoodie.

Here are the latest odds:

• Sleeves +110

• Sleeves Cut -150

That’s a tough one. Belichick wore sleeves for the last four games, but all were in cold weather cities. The last time he didn’t have sleeves was five games ago in Miami for the Dolphins game. Considering the game is in Glendale, AZ wearing sleeves may be too warm, but then again it is the Super Bowl and cut sleeves may not be formal enough considering the event.

Therefore, I’d assume only the gambling addict or his tailor would throw down on this specific bet, but there are some other fun ones to consider.

Katy Perry is the halftime act (with a few special guests) but you can bet on what the “Teenage Dream” singer will be wearing during her first song.

• Dress/Skirt -150

• Pants/Shorts/Any Other +110

I guess there isn’t an option to bet on her having a wardrobe malfunction, much to the dismay of many red-blooded males around the world.
