Jose Mourinho forgets which team knocked them out of the FA Cup when discussing the game afterwards.

Chelsea was ousted from the FA Cup tournament in rather embarrassing fashion, losing 2-4 at home to Bradford City. They took a 2-0 lead before Bradford City rallied to score four goals, win and eliminated the dominant Premier League side, who were playing with a weaker line up than usual since this game fell between two mid-week clashes with Liverpool FC in the Capital One Cup tournament.

After the game Mourinho went on to say that he was “ashamed” and the result was “unacceptable.”

“In this moment I feel happy for them. I could find in my bad feeling with the game and with the result space to feel happy for them. I’m honest,” Mourinho said, via ESPN FC.

“By another side I feel ashamed and I think the players should feel exactly the same as I feel. By one side this is the beauty of football, the beauty of the FA Cup. It happens more in the FA Cup than any other country.

“(But) I repeat the word that I used yesterday in case we lost — it’s a disgrace. A sporting disgrace, but it’s a disgrace. I know in the history of this competition it happens to every team now and again.

“For me it’s the first time and I think it’s unacceptable to lose against a team from a lower league.”

At one point talking to media after the game he forgot the name of the team he lost to, confusing Bradford City with Barnsley.

But hey, he did make it over to the right locker room to congratulate them.
