Klay Thompson made some NBA history on Friday night against the Kings

Sometimes NBA players just play out of their minds for a stretch, but then you have what Klay Thompson of the Warriors did on Friday night against the Kings, which completely takes things to a whole other level.

Not only did Thompson have a good third quarter against the Kings, he actually had the best quarter in NBA history, dropping in 37 points.

Yes…37 points in a 12-minute stretch.

Nine three pointers in a one-quarter span is just something that’s not of this world, but it’s something that Thompson was able to pull off. Oh, speaking of those nine threes made in a quarter, that happens to be a record as well.

There was literally nothing that the Kings could do on Friday to stop the onslaught that Thompson was bringing in the third quarter. He was out to make history, and he did just that.
