Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch spent Super Bowl Media Day answering every question with the same phrase.

Marshawn Lynch fulfilled his media obligations and will keep the money in his pocket for at least another day.

Lynch sat for the required four minutes and 30 seconds of media time during Super Bowl Media Day, but didn’t say anything other than eight words, “I’m just here so I won’t get fined”.

The best moments came when Lynch saluted a kid who wished him good luck, did some unique “beast mode” gestures and had a friendly back and forth with Deion Sanders.

Lynch has been fined multiple times for not talking to the media in the past costing him over six figures in income, which 99 percent of us don’t make in a year.

A rule is a rule is a rule, but why anyone in the media would want to talk to Lynch who says absolutely nothing is a weird desire. Pick a colorful Seahawk. Richard Sherman, Russell Wilson, Kam Chancellor , Michael Bennett, anyone would be a better choice than trying futilely to get Marshawn to say anything.

Come Sunday though, Marshawn Lynch will be “all about that action boss” which will work just fine for Seahawks fans.
