Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch doesn’t want anyone getting fined.
Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch isn’t a fan of the media, or answering questions. He is tired of the fines that come with ignoring the media though so he has reluctantly started answering questions, usually choosing one signature phrase like “yeah” or “I’m thankful.”
At the Super Bowl media day, he had one answer over and over again for questions.
And it would’ve been a huge fine.

At one point right before he ended his press conference, cause he only had to stay at the podium for a matter of minutes to avoid a fine, he knocked over a reporters recorder when answering a question. He broke character to inform the unlucky reporter that he had knocked the device off the podium.
The reporter responded with “now I’m going to get fined.”
Lynch jumped into action though, because no one is getting fined on his watch. As soon as a fine was brought up, Lynch got off the podium to pick up the device and save the reporter.
It also was perfect timing because his time requirement at the podium had just been met.
