Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins trolled a member of the media who predicted he would be arrested over the next five years.

Everyone loves a hot sports take and sometimes they’re made just to make them and elicit a response. For instance, Clay Travis predicted that Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins would be arrested within the next five years.

That was January 30th, 2010. Now five years later, Cousins hasn’t been arrested but he remembers that hot take.

So Cousins decided to post it to his Twitter account to celebrate in a way and remind Travis of his hot take and trolled him on Instagram and Twitter. And it is incredibly fantastic to see.

Check it out:

Travis for the most part seems to be taking it well, offering to donate $5,000 to a charity of Cousins’ choice. It is a nice way to admit you made a mistake, though Cousins seemingly hasn’t responded with a charity he’d like to see the money donated to.
