Green Bay Packers wide receiver and free agent Randall Cobb discusses the hitting zone, Seattle loss and whether Marshawn Lynch should be forced to speak to the media

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb has pretty much everything going for him. 24 years old, already with over 3,000 yards receiving and on the verge of a huge free agent payday. Cobb is working with DICK’s Sporting Goods “Jersey Report” seeing his number 18 being bought up around the country.

FanSided sat down with Cobb and touched on a bunch of topics. We asked Cobb if he could ask Roger Goodell any question, what would it be?:

“If he would ever change the hitting zone. A lot of guys are hitting a little bit lower and I think that is one of the reasons that caused my injury a couple of years ago, you look at Le’Veon Bell, you look at Gronkowski the hit he took last year. We are getting our knees blown out and that could be a career ending injury”

Should Marshawn Lynch or other athletes in the NFL should have to talk to the media:

“I don’t think they should be forced to. Freedom of speech. Just talking to talk. He doesn’t want to talk that’s on him. I think they are just looking for reasons to fine him now.”

As for the Seahawks loss in the NFC championship game:

“I don’t think I will ever get over it.”
