Water dwelling creatures have been generating plenty of attention recently, including one story involving Nick “Swaggy P” Young and a murderous dolphin.

Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young is apparently afraid of some water dwelling animals. No, not Katy Perry’s sharks.

Instead, it appears the man known as “Swaggy P” is deathly afraid of dolphins.

You may ask, “how is that possible?”

Well, Swaggy P’s special lady friend, recording artist Iggy Azalea, shed some light on a moment that led to Young’s fear. As it turns out, a dolphin nearly killed the poor man.

Those damn Cabo dolphins.

To be fair to Young, however, avoiding a wild dolphin snorkel tour in the middle of a season seems like a smart move. The Lakers surely appreciate one of their top players looking out for himself, especially if that means avoiding going into the water with murderous dolphins.

But for Swaggy P the man, it may hurt his chances of getting back into his groove on the court.

After all, diving with the dolphins is pretty romantic, so maybe he should have tried to use that opportunity to woo Iggy. He does still have a few days until Valentine’s Day, though, so there is still a chance for Swaggy to set up the right moment that will allow him to improve on his 31 percent shooting in 2015.

“We’ll see after Valentine’s Day,” he said, via ESPN. “I’ll get some good loving or something and I’ll be back.”

Take one for the team, Swaggy P. Go diving with the dolphins.
