Devin Booker apologizes for running into cheerleader (video)
By Andrew Ross
Devin Booker of the Kentucky Wildcats felt bad after delivering a nasty blow to a Tennessee cheerleader.
Devin Booker had 18 points and seven rebounds on the way to Kentucky’s 26th straight win of the season last night, but the most memorable thing he did was run into one of the Tennessee Volunteers’ cheerleaders.
The collision appeared absolutely brutal at first, and it almost seemed certain that the cheerleader suffered some sort of injury.

Booker didn’t do much after it first happened since it was in the heat of battle, but he later proved to be a pretty good guy that cares after all.
Since social media is incredibly amazing, his message quickly got to the cheerleader that he hit and she let him know that all is well. Later on, she sent out a tweet of her own to let everyone know that she is fine and didn’t suffer any type of injury.
It doesn’t matter if you’re court side as a fan or a cheerleader for a team or just a cameraman getting some shots, but that can be dangerous territory and multiple people get quickly reminded that by something like this happening to them.
I’m just happy that this didn’t end with someone getting seriously hurt.
