Running back C.J. Spiller said the Buffalo Bills called him to tell him good bye.
The Philadelphia Eagles made waves in the NFL community when it was reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter that they were trading away running back LeSean McCoy. The man lead the league in rushing in 2013 and the league in rushing touchdowns in 2011 and now was being shipped away for a player who missed all of 2014 with an injury.
The recipients of McCoy were the Buffalo Bills, who gave up linebacker Kiko Alonso for the rusher. Agent Drew Rosenhaus came out and said that there was no trade yet, but it looks like there might be after all.
Bills running back C.J. Spiller was on the NFL Network when news of the trade broke and he said that the team called him and thanked him for his services. Basically confirming that the Bills received McCoy in a trade, hence why the team would no longer need Spiller who plays the same position.

It looks like Spiller thinks the Bills should’ve included him in the trade and made a comment on the network pitching his services to the Eagles and head coach Chip Kelly.
CJ Spiller on @nflnetwork: "I'm going to a team that wants me to be there.... I'm pretty sure that Chip (Kelly) has my agent's phone number"
