The video of this Dodgers fan, taken BY said Dodgers fan himself, catching a home run ball is amazing

It’s one sort of accomplishment to go to a Major League Baseball game and collect yourself a home run ball if you’re sitting in the outfield seats, however, it’s on a different level if you can literally record yourself doing it with a camcorder.

Now you’re probably looking at the last part of that sentence and thinking to yourself, “There’s a better chance of Major League Baseball throwing a party for Alex Rodriguez tying Willie Mays than there is of that happening.” Well, watch this Los Angeles Dodgers fan completely blow your mind.

No, you’re not seeing things. On Saturday when the Dodgers were taking on the Arizona Diamondbacks, Aaron Hill launched one right into the left field seats where this fan was sitting, and not only did Dodgers fan Bobby Crosby make the catch, he has the video to prove it because he took it himself.

This has to take an enormous amount of dedication.

The feat was so amazing that not only did it blow the mind of Vin Scully, it also got the legendary broadcaster to start a discussion of selfies.

Now, if you’re at a baseball game and you see an alarming number of people in the outfield seats with camcorders, you know why.
