Dwyane Wade is apparently growing upset with the way contract negotiations are going with the Miami Heat

It’s been no secret as of late that Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat are having some discussions about his future with the team, and apparently those discussions are starting to get to the veteran a little.

As we know, Wade has been seeking a new, long-term deal that would pay him a significant amount of money to basically end his career with the only team that he has known in his NBA career. However, the Heat aren’t exactly keen on the idea of paying the man that’s not only been around the NBA for over a decade, but has dealt with more than his fair share of injuries over that time as well.

Still, according to the Miami Herald, a friend of Wade noted recently that the star guard is growing more and more upset that things aren’t going his way in this battle.

"And Wade is under no obligation to take the highest offer. In fact, he could consider joining a top contender for less than Miami’s offer if he continues to feel the Heat isn’t treating him fairly. A friend has described Wade as upset with the Heat’s position and that he wants to feel like a priority."

This really is quite the intriguing battle going on here. It seems as more and more time goes on, the possibility that Dwyane Wade is playing in a different uniform next season does in fact exist. As stated in the report, Wade could very well get some cash to go help out a contender, and there are teams out there that would be more than willing to pay for his services.

Some see that Wade has a gripe in this scenario, while others side with the Heat’s stance of not dumping a good amount of money in someone like Wade this late in his career.

It’s all a gray area right now as talks continue, but sooner or later, something has to give from one side or the other.
