Can’t say that I expected to see Jason Williams’ name trending on Facebook this Monday morning, but here we are. On July 4th, a highlight video of Williams’ son Jaxon was uploaded on Youtube, and it already has 1.3 million views. The younger Williams has some serious game, slick handles and a skill set that is eerily reminiscent of his papa, White Chocolate.

Not gonna lie, I was a little skeptical at first. How much can we really tell by clips of 13-year-olds playing AAU ball? But as the video progressed, there were some striking similarities. Putting kids on skates with the reverse spin move, and then that long, one-handed bounce pass were both right out of the White Chocolate playbook.

This feels like as good a time as ever to remind the world just how good Williams was in his prime. The guy was basically an And1 highlight reel, and him guiding those early 2000s Kings teams made for one of the most exciting offenses in recent league history. Just look at these moves.

He also stole the show in one of Nike’s better commercials from the time period.

Can’t say that I didn’t enjoy the Monday morning nostalgia kick. Hopefully White Chocolate Jr. keeps progressing and pumps out the highlights for years to come.
