The Toronto Raptors have signed point guard Cory Joseph to a four-year deal reportedly worth $30 million, with the fourth year being a player option. The Toronto-born guard became available once San Antonio pulled a qualifying offer on Sunday in an effort to clear cap space.

Joseph, who had spent his entire career in San Antonio, tweeted out his appreciation to the entire Spurs organization for their support.

"A sincere thank you to all the fans, RC, Coach Pop and the entire Spurs organization for all the support over the last 4 years. SA will always be close to my heart… had my first game and first championship here! #ThankYou#NextChapter"

In four seasons as Tony Parker’s backup Joseph saw his production increase every year. His 2015 campaign was the best of his career, where he averaged 6.8 points, 2.4 assists and 2.4 rebounds, and shot 50.4% from the field in just over 18 minutes per game.
