The battle over free agent center DeAndre Jordan has caused a twitter war with emojis that is epic.

Just when you thought NBA Free Agency was cooling down, DeAndre Jordan kicked it all back into gear. Jordan reportedly is having second thoughts about signing with the Dallas Mavericks and reached out to the Los Angeles Clippers. Which has led both teams to scramble to Houston to try and persuade Jordan in their direction, I imagine they’ll put him in the middle of a field and both call him at the same time and see which side he comes to.

In the mean time, Chandler Parsons, who has been an active participant in the recruiting of free agents, tweeted out an airplane emoji in reference to his flight to Houston.

Then J.J. Redick of the Clippers, who lives close to Houston in Austin, tweeted out a car suggesting he was driving to Houston.

Clippers star Blake Griffin got into it with a little bit of humor adding a plane, helicopter and a car.

Corey Maggette decided to get all sorts of crazy.

Then, after what was a helpful suggestion from SB Nation, Chris Paul chimed in with a boat and a banana.

Meanwhile everyone waits to see if Dirk Nowitzki or any other Mavericks players care enough to get involved.

Maggette meanwhile is getting a little carried away.

[UPDATE:] Paul Pierce has chimed in but might not understand how it works.
