Kyle Busch picked up a huge win for his season at the Quaker State 400. Where does Busch and the rest of NASCAR’s best sit in the 2015 Sprint Cup Standings?

Kyle Busch took a big step toward entering “The Chase” on Saturday night, when he raced his way to the front and won the 2015 running of the Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway.

For Kyle Busch, he already has met the requirement of winning a race if he wants a spot. He has two wins now to boast. However, he also has to be in the top-30 in points once the postseason begins and he’s going to need to keep running several good races if he is going to get in.

The win at Kentucky goes a long way in helping him get there. He moved up to 35th in the points standings, and is now just 87 points behind the 30th spot. If he keeps on a good pace, he will get there and be one of the most dangerous drivers in “The Chase.”

The top of the standings looks similar as Kevin Harvick continues to maintain his overall points lead. With a poor performance from Dale Earnhardt Jr., his teammate Jimmie Johnson moved right on up into second overall in the standings.

With Kyle Busch pulling off the big win, here are the updated points standings after Kentucky.
