The Indiana Pacers are ready to make sports movie lovers everywhere pretty happy this season with these new uniforms

For certain games this upcoming season, the Indiana Pacers will have a bit of a different look to them. Have no fear, though. No, they won’t be wearing some hideous jerseys with sleeves on them or anything like that, rather they might have unveiled the best alternate jerseys in all of sports.

On Tuesday the team announced that they will be wearing uniforms for certain games this season that are inspired by the movie “Hoosiers,” one of the absolute classic basketball films of our time.

OK, this might in fact be the coolest idea that any sports team has ever come up with when it comes to uniforms. Everyone loves the Hickory Hoosiers, and seeing the Pacers out there on an NBA court looking just like them is going to be a sight to see.

Watching George Hill, Paul George and the rest of the Pacers crew do battle in these bad boys will have everyone feeling nostalgic and you’re probably going to watch the movie right after the game.

Generally when new uniforms are unveiled by any sports team we tend to cringe, because we’ve seen the worst of the worst as of late. But these definitely do not fit into that category.
