As the dust settles from a busy MLB trade deadline, this Sunday offers the usual jam-packed afternoon of baseball capped with an NL East showdown tonight between the Mets and the Nationals.  With several newly-acquired pitchers making debuts with their new teams, there should be plenty of interesting games to watch as well as some great fantasy baseball opportunities.  If you’re looking for help in putting your lineup together, check out the following slides for my top 10 batter vs pitcher matchups to attack.

You can find my list of the top ten batter vs pitcher matchups each morning here on Fansided.  To find all our fantasy baseball coverage check the fantasy baseball hub where you can drop a bookmark to easily find new content. I base my picks each day on the hitter’s individual history against the probable starting pitcher they will face in the day’s matchup.

While past success is definitely no guarantee of production on any given day, batter vs pitcher history is one of the key factors to consider when selecting your hitters. If you have any questions specifically about your lineup, you can find me @FansidedFantasy on Twitter where I’ll tweet out links to the daily posts each morning and be available for questions throughout the day.

When putting together my top ten list, I do my best to include as wide a variety of teams and positions as possible. Today, there are some players with nice track records of success including power numbers, players who have hit for average, and a few with lots of experience.  No matter what kind of offensive boost you are looking for, there should be some info that helps on the following slides.

If you are looking to try out a daily league fantasy baseball league today, one option to consider is FanDuel where you can find daily competitions for each day of the MLB season. You can get there by clicking the link in the box above or the link at the end of the post. FanDuel is just one of the many sites you can play daily fantasy baseball on, and each format varies a bit based on scoring and roster structure.

Let’s jump right into the top 10 batter vs pitcher matchups for this Sunday.
