With summer quickly coming to a close, we’re now finding out the schedule for the 2015 MLB Playoffs in October

As we exit the month of August here, the realization will start to set in that the MLB Playoffs will be here soon. Before we know it, some of the best teams in baseball will be vying for one of the spots in the World Series, where they eventually hope to be crowned the 2015 World Champions.

That being said, some of you may be wondering when exactly the craziness of the MLB Playoffs for this season will begin. Well, on Monday, we found that out.

Major League Baseball announced on Monday the full schedule for the MLB Playoffs, including part of the TV schedule.

So things will get kicked off on Tuesday, October 6, and from there we’ll be off to the races.

As we come down the stretch run of the regular season here, there are a few stories to watch out for when it comes to the MLB Playoffs. Of course, we have the battle in the American League East between the New York Yankees and Toronto Blue Jays, who as of late seem poised to play hot potato with first place in the division. Then, everyone will be looking to see whether or not the New York Mets can actually keep their stranglehold on first in the National League East.

Really, most of the divisions are open, except for the American League Central. Barring some sort of monumental collapse, the Kansas City Royals some come away with that division.

We don’t know who will be a part of the MLB Playoffs this October, but we now at least know when all the action will get underway.
