The St. Louis Cardinals gave ups five runs in the secondĀ inning of Game 2 in the NLDS, and fans werenāt pleased when theĀ excuse was the pitcher got sick.Ā
There are pitchers out there who just canāt stomach a bad start. St. Louis Cardinals starter Jaime Garcia couldnāt even stomach a bad inning, as he was yanked after the second inning for what the team described as a āstomach virusā.
From there, the puns and bad jokes from Cubs fans seemed endless, but the true rage was coming from the so-called best fans in baseball and Cardinals Twitter.
Jaime isn't an ace. He's not Waino. Like if he was sick, there was no need for him to be out there. His head wasn't in the game. #stlcards

The Cardinals arenāt in an elimination game in Game 2, rather theyāre just stumbling in a game that they need to try and put the Cubs away in. St. Louis bounced back later on in the game, but there was plenty of nail biting in St. Louis, followed up with loud cursing and things beingĀ hurled across the room.
