After the action was absent for a while on Monday night, Antwon Blake decided to end that with this play
For a good amount of time on Monday night, there was a lull in the action between the Pittsburgh Steelers and San Diego Chargers. The Chargers scored on their opening drive of the game and the Steelers eventually added a field goal, but that was about it. Everyone was waiting for the excitement.
Well, late in the third quarter, Steelers defensive back Antwon Blake decided to put an end to that.
Philip Rivers and the Chargers were driving, trying to put up some more points on the Steelers. With the way things have been going, a touchdown may have put this one away at 14-3. We got a touchdown, alright. However, it wasn’t from the Chargers, rather it was from Blake, who picked off Rivers and took it back 70 yards to the house for the score.
Instead of 14-3 Chargers, it quickly became 10-7 Steelers. Just like that, Antwon Blake changed the dynamic of this one as they get set for the fourth quarter.
