Jonotthan Harrison made a critical mistake for the Indianapolis Colts when a minute hadn’t even gone by on Monday Night Football.

Indianapolis Colts center Jonotthan Harrison is in his second year with the Colts, and his Monday night has already gotten off to a rough start since he committed a turnover on the very first play of the game. He botched the first snap, and the Carolina Panthers recovered it to set themselves up for an easy field goal. Although they won’t want to use it as an excuse, the rain is clearly affecting the Colts’ night so far.

It is no secret that the Colts offensive line continues to be a weakness for the team. While the rain can be blamed for the ball being slippery, Harrison is sure to find himself in the coaches’ doghouse for his fumbled snap though, as the Colts did not even get a chance to get an offensive rhythm going and take an early lead against a physical Panthers defense.

The Colts are looking to achieve a statement win against the Panthers and boost their record to 4-4, but it is looking like they may be headed to a 3-5 record. This falls far below the Colts’ preseason Super Bowl expectations, as their offense has underachieved throughout the season.

The Panthers defense will not make things any easier, as they possess studs such as cornerback Josh Norman, inside linebacker Luke Kuechly and defensive tackle Kawann Short. It remains to be seen whether quarterback Andrew Luck can put early Colts miscues behind him.
