French 2016 NBA Draft prospect Timothe Luwawu threw down a monster jam on a defender

There’s a possibility that you haven’t heard of 20-year-old Timothe Luwawu, a French guard-forward combo that plays for Mega Leks in the Serbian League of professional basketball. However, you might want to hurry up and learn about the 6-6 wing, because he can absolutely amaze.

On Saturday, Luwawu’s Mega Leks team took on Cibona in Serbian League action. Luwawu grabbed a defensive rebound and slowly brought the ball up the floor. He then ducked his head to drive and attack the rim. That’s when he took off from just inside the free throw line and absolutely embarrassed a Cibona defender when he put him on a poster:

I wish there were 1,000 different angles to watch that at. Luwawu looks like he’s soaring for a couple of seconds and just flies clean over the Cibona defender. That’s a monstrous dunk, especially for a 20-year-old.

According to DraftExpress, Luwawu is considered the 20th best prospect for the 2016 NBA Draft and, if he has athletic ability like this at such a young age, it’s not hard to see why NBA scouts would be enticed by what the Frenchman can do. In addition to that athleticism, he’s also a solid jump-shooter, hitting on 43.1 percent of his threes for Mega Leks this season. However, no jumper or three-point attempt is going to hold a candle to Luwawu jumping clean over a defender for that monster jam.
