A Cleveland Browns fan got very emotional about Johnny Manziel being named the starter in Cleveland, calling into a radio show and crying live on the air.

Johnny Manziel, quarterback of the Cleveland Browns is a very polarizing character. Some fans love him, and think he is the future of the team, but others think he is just one of the many quarterbacks that will not work out for the Browns.

But has one fan, Bill, taken things much too far? Has Bill let the Manziel situation control his emotions and his life? Maybe so.

Bill called into a radio show called The Bull and the Fox clearly emotional about the way Manziel was headed. Calling Johnny Football a “drunken bum” the caller emotionally let his feelings out about how Manziel doesn’t carry the Cleveland Brown image. The fan cried as he told why he was so frustrated about the quarterback situation.

The caller considers it a privilege for players to be on the team, and considers them to be the elites of the NFL. Bill thinks that there are ways these players should act, and that they shouldn’t do a lot of the things Manziel does do.

This comes as no surprise that some fans are up-in-arms about the quarterbacks behavior, following a weekend where Manziel was out clubbing and partying. The Browns had a bye week, and Manziel went down to Texas to hang with old friends and have a good time. This follows a summer where Manziel entered a rehabilitation clinic, as well as an incident where Manziel was pulled over, and drinking appeared to play a role.

This fan sounds to be an older gentleman, and has years and years of frustration with this football team built up. But maybe he’s onto something. Maybe Manziel never will be a true Cleveland Brown.
