Someone edited Cairo Santos’ Wikipedia page and it’s amazing

Kansas City Chiefs kicker Cairo Santos had his Wikipedia page edited in the best possible way.

We all live on the internet and use it to educate ourselves on the people and events in our world. One of those sources is Wikipedia, and one of those people is Kansas City Chief kicker Cairo Santos.

Santos has risen to stardom with the Chiefs, becoming one of the most reliable options Andy Reid has when it comes to scoring and has cemented his place on the roster for the foreseeable future. What makes his story great is that he’s from Brazil, and traveled to America to play a sport he wasn’t familiar with until well into his teenage years.

But that story isn’t good enough. The untold, seedy side of the Cairo Santos story has finally been told to the world and it makes his rise to the NFL even more amazing than it already was.

Here’s a look at Santos’ wikipedia page, which was beautifully edited to make him out to be an American hero.

Here’s the best part:

"Santos came to the U.S. Trafficked illegally to work as child labor in Brazilian BBQ’s across the country.Kansas City being the geographic center of the country and the center of US BBQ made this an ideal location for the youn Santos to call home.He spent many late nights kicking empty aluminum cans between telephone poles dreaming of something greater."

This is either the greatest Wikipedia hack job we’ve seen in a long time or it’s one of the greatest rags-to-riches American Dream stories ever told.

We don’t want to know which one either, they’re both too fantastic to not have both.
