The Pro Bowl Draft was tonight, and Team Irvin has selected a team captain Michael Irvin thinks will be a winner.

Next: Pro Bowl 2016: Team Rice draft results

Historically, the Pro Bowl has been an AFC vs. NFC affair, but after that started getting boring after the first fifteen minutes of the first game, it was apparent that things needed to be changed up a little. That’s why Dallas Cowboys Hall of Famer Michael Irvin is a team captain this year, as he will picking who he thinks is the best team he can assemble as to make sure he beats fellow Hall of Famer Jerry Rice in the Pro Bowl this year.

It’s a game that has always been about bragging rights, and adding in this captains element has boosted that part of the game. The Pro Bowl is far from perfect, but it’s well on its way to being better than anything it has been in the past. It’s been broken for years, and fully fixing the Pro Bowl is a pipe dream, but at least it’s more fun to keep track of than it has been in prior to this.

Here’s a look at the Team Irvin drafted on Wednesday night.
