A major trade is being discussed between these three NBA teams.

With the NBA All-Star Weekend over, the Trade Deadline is now the focus. Major names are being discussed that could be on the move including rental players and ones who have contracts that go beyond this year.

Dwight Howard has been among the names discussed. The Houston Rockets are looking to make a move with their current core not working as planned. Plus, the former NBA Defensive Player of the Year may be opting out of his contract after this season.

Atlanta Hawks center Al Horford has also been a name mentioned in the NBA trade rumors because of his impending free agent status. So could there be a match here?

According to Adam Spalone of SportsRadio 610 in Houston, the Hawks, Rockets and Miami Heat are discussing a three-way trade. Among the names being mentioned to move around include Howard, Horford, Jeff Teague, Hassan Whiteside and Goran Dragic.

If true, this could be one of the biggest NBA blockbusters seen in a while. All of the names mentioned are solid talents, including Chris Anderson, who holds his own as a defensive-minded center.

Miami had coveted Dragic for a while, but him running the point with Dwyane Wade hasn’t worked out as expected. They have also been shopping Whiteside around for a while.

Atlanta moving Teague would open up a spot for point guard Denis Schroder, who is seen as one of the better young talents at his position.

It will be interesting to see if this trade occurs between now and the NBA Trade Deadline.
