Shane McMahon returned to WWE on RAW and it was revealed that he will face The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32

Shane McMahon surprised everyone in the WWE Universe on Monday night when his music hit in Joe Louis Arena at the start of WWE RAW. He came out to confront Vince McMahon and Stephanie McMahon, revealing that he’s been in control of the company, but has just been standing idly by, but that he now wants control of RAW. Vince said that he’d give it to him, but only if he could win one match on one night. As it turns out, it’s a big match on a big night as Shane McMahon will face The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32 in a Hell in a Cell match:

This is absolutely surreal that this is all happening. When rumors began circulating that Undertaker’s opponent for WrestleMania 32 would be someone not currently wrestling, there were plenty of names thrown around. However, not one of those names was ever realistically Shane McMahon. Yet here we are.

Moreover, we now know who Undertaker will be facing in what could be his final Mania match of his career at WrestleMania 32—and he’ll be doing it inside Hell in a Cell no less.

For all the rage that WWE accrued after WWE Fastlane, WWE certainly knows how to shake things up in a major way right out of the gate. Now I guess we’ll have to just wait and see where this goes from here.
