Adidas unveils cleats for Jackie Robinson Day (Photo)

Adidas has unveiled the cleats that will be worn by players on Jackie Robinson Day.

The MLB is all about honor tradition and the greats that helped pave the way every year. As is tradition on April 15, the MLB has Jackie Robinson Day and honors one of the most influential men in sports history and American history. It is a time to come together and recognize all the things that Robinson did for the sport and the persecution that he overcame en route to making history.

Every year, players for all teams wear the No. 42 and they are ultimately reminded of the sacrifice and work that Robinson put in to make baseball what it is today. This year, Adidas is going all out for Jackie Robinson Day and the players of major league baseball will be wearing cleats that honor one of the greatest ever.

The cleats have Robinson’s No. 42 on the side and an image of Robinson sliding toward the front of the cleat. Famous quotes from Robinson are all over the shoe and these cleats have to be some of the coolest ever.
