The Oakland Raiders’ 2016 schedule has been released and you can see it in its entirety here.

The Oakland Raiders are a rising team full of young talent, and it showed at times in 2015 as the Silver and Black flirted with a .500 record. Perhaps 2016 could be the year the Raiders click and become more consistent to make a run at a playoff berth.

It’s easier said than done, but definitely doable looking at the Raiders’ 2016 schedule. In terms of difficulty based on 2015 records, the Raiders’ strength of schedule is middle of the pack at 15th overall.

The Raiders, for the most part, play their toughest non-division games at home as well. The Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Atlanta Falcons, Buffalo Bills and Carolina Panthers all come to the Black Hole.

When the Raiders go on the road they face a favorable schedule as well. The Raiders travel to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Tennessee Titans, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Baltimore Ravens and the New Orleans Saints. Those are all sub-.500 teams in 2016, though the Ravens lost a lot of players to injuries last year including star players Joe Flacco and Justin Forsett.

Still the Raiders have to think their schedule is favorable.
