Jamie Vardy receives red card vs West Ham (Video)

Jamie Vardy was sent off for Leicester against West Ham on Sunday for a dive

Time and time again this season, we’ve seen Jamie Vardy come through for Leicester City as they try to complete their improbable quest to the 2015-16 Premier League title. He came through again for his team on Sunday against West Ham United with his third goal in two games in the first half, but the second half didn’t do him any favors.

In the second half of this one on Sunday, Vardy was sent off the pitch when he received his second yellow card of the match for diving in the penalty area. The play that brought upon the second yellow for Vardy was questionable to a lot of people, but he did indeed make contact.

Nonetheless, the man that has put Leicester on his back was sent off for the play, leaving the club with 10 men.

Now, you can watch the video for yourself and you make the call. There has been a lot of debate as to whether or not this was the right call, and really, you can pick either side in this argument.

Whatever the case, this red card for one of the best players in the Premier League this season may have put Leicester in some serious jeopardy in regards to easily capturing their title.
