NCAA football bowl schedule released for 2016 season

Here’s a look at the dates and times for the 42 bowl games that NCAA football teams will be looking to qualify for in the 2016 season.

The 2016 NCAA football regular season is still around four months from kicking off, but fans of the sport can already start to make their plans for the upcoming bowl season. Tuesday, the dates and times were released for nearly all the 42 bowl games that will take place this season.

The 2016 NCAA football bowl season will get underway on Saturday, December 17 when six bowl games take place. It will conclude on Monday, January 9 with the College Football Playoff title game at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

Two additional games – the Foster Farms Bowl and the Nova Home Loans Arizona Bowl – have not yet announced when there games will take place. The NCAA announced recently that there will be no additional bowl games added for the next three seasons.
