Stephen Curry showed tremendous hustle dove into the first row to save a loose ball in the first quarter of Game 2 against the Thunder

After dropping Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals to the Oklahoma City Thunder, the defending NBA Champions in the Golden State Warriors put themselves in a major hole in trying to get to the NBA Finals. With Game 2 taking place at home in ORACLE, though, Stephen Curry and the Warriors weren’t going to lay down easily and fully give up home-court advantage. The MVP showed that early in the first quarter.

With the Game 2 matchup still in its infancy, a loose ball started trickling to the side out of bounds just to the right of the scorer’s table. Rather than letting a ball go out early in the game and give OKC another possession, Stephen Curry showed the effort level of an MVP as he took off and dove into the first round of the home crowd to try to make the save:

You can never say that the MVP is out there looking complacent, but it’s especially true on plays like that.

There are so many things that make Stephen Curry and the Warriors so special in this league. While his shooting and his handles are incredible, though, what may be most impressive about the point guard is that he still plays every game like its his last. As always in a professional environment, that’s admirable without question.
