Von Miller and the Broncos don’t seem close to a resolution, as they’ve had minimal talks with one another

With the NFL season fast approaching here in the summer months, all of the attention now really is on the sage between the Denver Broncos and Super Bowl MVP linebacker Von Miller. The two sides are running out of time to come to an agreement, and it doesn’t seem as if they’re close to resolving anything at the moment.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler dropped a new report on the situation Tuesday, and in that report he stated that the two sides have barely had discussions with one another over the course of the past few weeks, which obviously leads us all to believe that an agreement is not in the cards for the new future.

You can watch the report below.

Again, with summer here and that July 15 deadline to give him a new deal approaching, we’re now in the home stretch to see whether or not Miller will even be joining the Broncos this season at all. As Fowler stated in his report, it’s not about that six years and $114 million, as usual, it’s all about the guaranteed money, which tends to be the problem a lot of times with these negotiations.

Of course, as we all know by now, Miller does have the option of sitting out the entire 2016 season and becoming a free agent next March, choosing to sign with whatever team he pleases. While you can never really tell if a player is bluffing or not when this subject comes up, Miller does at times seem content with doing this if worse comes to worse.

Time will tell — but that time is running out slowly but surely.
