Identifying the top high-salary and value shortstop plays from around Major League Baseball for your June 24 DraftKings lineup.

Our goal is to help you win DraftKings contests with consistently strong lineups. To accomplish that, we’ll be highlighting some higher salary players worth paying up for, and some value picks that will help you save salary in key areas. These picks are specifically for DraftKings lineups, so all references to prices and fantasy points are based on DK figures.

As always, be sure to double-check final MLB lineups and monitor weather situations before locking in your DFS lineups.

High Salary

Xander Bogaerts, Red Sox (5,300): Bogaerts has six hits and four RBIs over his last three games, and has hit safely in six of his last seven games overall. He now leads the majors in batting average (.351) and hits (106). He’s almost always the top-priced shortstop, but he rarely ever disappoints. He’s once again a strong play Friday against Texas Rangers righty Nick Martinez (1-1, 5.14 ERA).

Trevor Story, Rockies (5,100): Story has dominated Arizona Diamondbacks right-hander Archie Bradley in the limited head-to-head meetings between the two. Story is 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and three RBIs. He should be able to keep that success rolling on Friday, when the Rockies host the Diamondbacks at Coors Field.

High Value

Didi Gregorius, Yankees (3,800): Gregorius is on a fantastic roll of late, having hit safely in seven of his last eight games, with five games of double-digit fantasy points over that stretch. He’s a solid play Friday against Minnesota Twins lefty Tommy Milone (0-1, 5.79 ERA). Why? He’s only hitting .383 against left-handers this season.

Next: All-Time 25-Man MLB Roster

Asdrubal Cabrera, Mets (3,800): Like Gregorius, Cabrera is hot right now, so continue to ride the wave. He has 44 combined fantasy points over his last three games, a stretch that includes a pair of home runs. Atlanta Braves right-hander Aaron Blair (0-4, 7.19 ERA) might have a bright future, but his present is full of struggles.
