After an unprecedented comeback by Florida State against Ole Miss, the Oxford Police Department hilariously trolled themselves.

Sometimes trolling on Twitter can go sideways. Occasionally, it’s just good to troll yourself and laugh the whole thing off. On Monday night, the Ole Miss Rebels had a great chance to blow out the Florida State Seminoles and ended up blowing a double-digit lead.

The Oxford Police Department, which always has a strong tweet game, decided that they were going to have fun with the game all night. After the Seminoles made the huge comeback and went on a 30-0 run, the Oxford police decided that they might as well have some fun at their own expense with a classic gif from Weekend at Bernie’s.

For those that follow them on Twitter, they had been tweeting all night about all the drunks in the town getting into trouble at bars. Therefore, when the Rebels blew a sizeable lead, it was only fitting that they turn the fun up a notch. For a Twitter account, it is easily one of the better ones and the person running it has a tremendous sense of humor.

While the drunks they’re chasing around town might not be having as much fun as their Twitter account, it’s good to see that they handle a blown lead with quality humor.
