Following the injury to the Browns’ new QB Robert Griffin III, one Madden 17 gamer created LeBron James as Cleveland’s QB, and he was pretty good.

LeBron James is recognized as one of the best athletes on the planet. The 6’8″, 250-plus pound monster has dominated the game of basketball since he was drafted first overall in 2003. But many believe that he can dominate in other sports as well — maybe football?

In 2009, a commercial was released of LeBron James standing at a podium announcing that he would sign with the Cleveland Browns. He ultimately led them to a title and turned the franchise around. While this was only a commercial, one fan must have taken it to heart.

One Madden 17 player created the NBA’s best player as the Browns’ QB in the game. And he seems unstoppable. How can you not be at his size possessing the strength, speed, agility and power that he does? Quite frankly, the guy is a physical freak of nature.

It is fun to think about LeBron James pulling a Michael Jordan and retiring early to play a different sport. Many believe that he could have been an all-pro tight end in the NFL. But quarterback? That is how desperate the Browns are to find the answer. He was a great receiver back at St. Vincent- St. Mary where he played football and basketball.

While LeBron certainly has no intention of leaving the NBA, it is certainly fun to think about. Especially if you are a Browns fan who has a dream of LeBron rescuing your team like he did the Cavs.

But, with RGIII injured and LeBron in the NBA, the Browns will have to settle for Josh McCown and keep their dreams of number 23 at QB in Madden.
